if your a new musician or you just need an instrument for practice, any brand of instrument, regardless of the price, should be completely acceptable. in fact, its good to learn how to take care of an instrument that is inexpensive so you will know how to take care of a more expensive musical instrument.
please remember to take care of your instrument. you should use products such as polishing cloths, cleaners, and polish.you should learn to pick up, play, and put away your instrument without harming the instrument. temperature and humidity can also cause harm to an instrument.
when learning a new instrument, you should take lessons at first to learn good form and technique. its very important to learn proper warming up and cooling down techniques so you don't injure your self.
if you play an instrument that requires you to stand up (practicing while sitting down may not be very good for your wrist) bass, guitar ect, and you pratcice as much as a "professional" (maybe 4 hours a day (collectively)) you should invest in a high quality floor mat to stand on.
please remember to always ware ear protection in loud situations. alpine, as well as many other manufacturers make high quality ear protection for every situation. ear protection should be comfortable and non-harming to your ears.
